Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep our high-energy convenience store running smoothly on all shifts. You’ll support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, and help hire and train a capable staff focused on customer service and store success.

You must have open availability for weekends and holidays, and you should be comfortable with second or third shifts. A Food Safety Certification and a valid driver’s license are required as part of our safety and

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Open availability for weekends, holidays and second/third shifts.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and help customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform cash handling and deposits.
• Provide leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
