Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to energize our convenience store operations and lead a high-performing team on weekend, holiday, and rotating shifts. You will support the Store Manager, supervise cash handling, and drive customer service excellence across the store.

The role requires open availability, strong English communication, and the ability to train and coach staff to upsell promotions. A Food Safety Certification is required or obtainable during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and facilities.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and store deposits.
