Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support our clinical team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. You will produce high-quality x-ray images, position patients, and operate portable x-ray equipment for ED and nursing units.

The role requires ARRT registry eligibility, a current state license, and BLS certification, with a full-time weekend schedule and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed an approved radiological training program and ARRT registry eligibility.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist.
• Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.
• Perform x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by ED and nursing units.
• Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures.
• Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians.
• Maintain x-ray and other equipment; perform preventative maintenance per guidelines.
• Promote effective working relations and work as part of a department/unit team.
