Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a PRN, on-site role at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. You will perform x-ray imaging, position patients, and operate portable machines in the ED and nursing units, ensuring high-quality, safe imaging.

The position emphasizes flexibility, supplemental income, and meaningful work within a supportive healthcare system, with the option for evenings, nights, and weekends. Prior ARRT certification and BLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• Requires ARRT registry eligibility and state license where applicable.
• BLS certification is required at hire or within onboarding period.
• Completion of an approved radiologic training program is required.

Aufgaben

• Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist ensuring clear and undistorted films.
• Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.
• Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines as requested by the Emergency Department and nursing units.
• Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures.
• Prepare or clean patient rooms by changing linens, stocking supplies and wiping off tables and equipment ensuring an efficient and clean working environment.
• Protect patients from undue exposure to radiation by using lead shields and various safety factors.
• Prepare and assist in administering contrast agents by monitoring dosages and determining any potential allergies ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures.
• Maintain patient information as needed by purging or updating patient film jackets and/or filing reports or film files to ensure accurate patient records.
