Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN (as needed) coverage. The role offers evening, night, and weekend differentials, with a focus on patient-centered imaging and safety.

The position requires ARRT Radiography Certification, state licensure, and BLS, with IV competency preferred. The ideal candidate has CT experience and is comfortable supporting students and staff in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography Certification/Registration and relevant state licensure required.
• BLS certification mandatory; IV competency preferred.
• CT technologist experience with maintaining ARRT competency in radiology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Verify patient identity and order accuracy, prepare patient for exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol with safety guidelines.
• Review images for quality and accuracy ensuring all structures are captured.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers after procedures.
• Stay current with CT technology and participate in continuing education.
• Instruct students and staff on protocols, positioning, and equipment.
