Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging, fluoroscopy, and CT as needed within the imaging department.

The role supports patient care, image quality, and safety, with a weekend full-time schedule (Fri-Sun) and potential for on-call or emergent CT work. Requires completion of a Radiology Technology program and ARRT-R credential within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Explains procedures to patient to ensure understanding and prepares patient for radiology exam.
• Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within scope of practice.
• Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
