Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT procedures per radiologists' protocols. This PRN/Per Diem role requires completing Radiology/Nuclear Medicine/Radiation Therapy training and CT credential within 12 months.

Schedule is as-needed with night/weekend shift differentials available. The position involves patient positioning, contrast administration, monitoring, and adherence to radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA).
• ARRT-CT Computed Tomography credential or NMTCB CT credential.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and monitors protocols and safety.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
