Job summary

SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, IL, seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures in accordance with radiologist protocols. Eligible for cross-training and tuition assistance. The role requires completion of a radiology program and CT credential within 12 months of hire.

The position is full-time on a weekend schedule (Fri–Sun) with an hourly pay range and comprehensive support. Sign-on and relocation assistance are available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.
• No experience required.
• Licenses/certifications include BLS HCP, ARRT-R, ARRT-T, ARRT-N, CNMT, ARRT-CT, NMTCB CT credential, NMTCB CT credential, IEMA Radiologic Technologists and IEMA temporary accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity; monitors and updates protocols as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
