The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and strong communication to support students, staff, and hospital personnel. Weekend shifts emphasize leadership, clinical excellence, and teamwork in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• ARRT Registered Technologist, Radiology (R) required.
• Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required.
• Bone Density certification preferred within six months of hire, if applicable.
• LRT; Kansas LRT licensure, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures with emphasis on safety for patient and staff.
• Adheres to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images accurately and promptly.
• Informs patients and families about procedures and addresses needs.
• Observes patient and equipment during procedures and documents any anomalies.
• Supports patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment and resources.
