Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a physician locum tenens to cover a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with night call rotation and weekend coverage. Expect 15–20 light IR procedures daily, including paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT/US-guided biopsies, and lumbar punctures.

Hospitals require privileges; Weatherby coordinates travel and housing and provides ongoing consultant support. Weatherby is a charter member of NALTO, serving large networks nationwide.

Responsibilities

• M-F 8 am - 5 pm with night call rotation and 24-hour weekend coverage
• 15 - 20 light IR procedures daily on average
• Paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT/US guided biopsies, and lumbar punctures
• Nephrostomy, embolization, drain insertion, chest tubes, and fluoroscopy
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
