Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in Georgia seeks a locum tenens physician for a M-F 8 am–5 pm schedule with night call rotation and 24-hour weekend coverage. Expect 15–20 light IR procedures daily and hospital privileges are required. Procedures include paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT/US guided biopsies, lumbar punctures, nephrostomy, embolization, drain insertion, chest tubes, and fluoroscopy. Weatherby pays malpractice, travel, housing and offers consultant support.

Qualifications

• Hospital privileges required.
• Schedule includes M-F 8 am–5 pm with night call rotation.
• Weekend coverage required.

Responsibilities

• Perform paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT/US guided biopsies, and lumbar punctures.
• Place nephrostomy, perform embolization, drain insertion, chest tubes, and fluoroscopy.
• Maintain 24-hour availability through Weatherby Healthcare support.
