Job summary

Van Diest Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for weekend coverage with a focus on CT scanning, venipuncture, and radiography procedures. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and access to comprehensive fringe benefits.

The technologist will perform CT scans and radiographic exams, maintain patient safety, and participate in student supervision. Shifts include Friday and weekend coverage, with on-call duties as described.

Qualifications

• CT scanning performed independently.
• Venipuncture for CT procedures independently.
• Radiologic procedures performed independently.
• Operate DR for processing x-ray images.
• Communicate procedures to patients clearly.
• Supervise radiography students during departmental functions.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality radiographs for patients of all ages.
• Cover weekends as described in the job description.
• Perform CT scanning independently and safely.
• Operate radiation-emitting equipment with proper technique.
• Greet and inform patients about procedures and obtain necessary information.
• Supervise radiography students and assist with training.
