Job summary

Aurora Sinai is seeking a Weekend Program Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy. You will work Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, on a 36-hour week schedule in the Radiology department.

Qualifications

• Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin
• ARRT RT registration
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification due within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Competently performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and general fluoroscopic.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history and address questions.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors and ensures radiation safety.
• Identifies patient and labels images and processes images for radiographs.
• Assists, communicates and consults with Radiologists.
• Maintains records and enters data into radiology information system and documents billing codes.
• Performs patient positioning and transporting duties, with lifting and pushing/pulling.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate patient care according to department standards.
