Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years in quality/manufacturing.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (optional).
• Ability to read blueprints; GD&T knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of charting and process control methods.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Ability to interpret orders, quotes, drawings and draw conclusions.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, etc.).
• Skilled in identifying root causes and recommending resolutions.
• Ability to apply Quality Systems / ISO procedures and documentation.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA support and lead root cause problem solving to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
• Perform process validations, in-process inspections, and monitor quality of processes.
• Support design, manufacturing, and quality engineering for data collection and analysis.
• Adhere to QMS objectives and train others on QMS standards.
• Perform internal ISO audits and provide audit support.
• Provide formal FAI reports for customer or internal use as required.
• Determine and use measuring tools to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
• Communicate with Operations, Supply, Manufacturing Eng, Design, Quality, Service, Planning, Logistics.
• Lead/assist in maintaining calibration status of inspection/test equipment.
