Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking Quality Lab Technicians for 12‑hour weekend shifts in Muskegon, MI. The role focuses on chemical analysis of samples, data entry into LIMS, and calibration of lab equipment.

You will support production from the C-M melt shop to vendors, ensuring accuracy and safety. The technician will maintain analytical standards, assist in training, and handle routine lab tasks with strict adherence to EH&S policies.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 2 years of lab experience.
• Preferred: 2/4 year Applied Science degree with emphasis on chemistry.
• LECO, XRF and/or trace analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis using established procedures and operate analytical instruments.
• Maintain calibration and simple maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Record, report and file results in the Laboratory Information System (LIMS).
• Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and safety standards.
• Assist in training new Lab Technicians and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Hold weekend schedule coverage and be available for overtime as needed.
