Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking Quality Control Technicians in Midland, MI for a full-time, temp-hire role. Shifts include 1st 6am-2pm ($14/hr), 2nd 2pm-10pm ($14.70/hr), and 3rd 10pm-6am ($15.12/hr). Overtime and weekends may be required during peak season.

Clean, climate-controlled facility with safety standards in place. Responsibilities include inspecting parts, operating presses, and ensuring production quality per ISO and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to discern visual and textual defects.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation to ensure attendance.
• Must comply with Drug Free Workplace policy.
• HS diploma or GED or close to completion.

Responsibilities

• Thorough inspection of parts as they are produced to identify debris, defects, or malformed parts prior to the next stage in the process.
• Placement of part on a press, matching to mold, smooth with hands, and use both hands to push two buttons to operate the machines.
• Removal of finished part and place at the next point of operation.
• Timely and accurate production of various parts and/or assemblies as assigned to efficiency standards, quality inspections, and ISO/safety requirements
