Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for an on-site role supporting daily production operations. The position requires assisting the Supervisor with coordinating department activities, monitoring equipment, and ensuring safety and policy compliance on the production floor.

The successful candidate will participate in line setup, equipment inspections, and on-the-job training for team members, while maintaining housekeeping standards and supporting sanitation tasks.

Qualifications

• 3 months of food industry production experience within the last 2 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
• Support a safe work environment and Tyson policies.
• Assist with production line setup and daily equipment inspections.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to team members as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure materials are available on the floor.
• Assist with attendance tracking and retraining of staff.
• Support washdown and sanitation activities as required.
• Communicate expectations and report quality concerns to the Supervisor.
