Job summary

Vermont Cider Company is seeking a Tier 2 Production Operator to independently operate packaging lines for bottles, cans, kegs and variety packs, while ensuring safety, quality and on-time production. You will perform quality checks, support changeovers, document activities and troubleshoot routine line issues in a team‑oriented environment.

The role offers a 3‑day workweek (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM), competitive pay with a $2/hour shift differential, and an annual bonus opportunity plus a

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing, packaging, machine operation, or production experience of 1-3 years
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred
  • Forklift experience is needed 1-3 years
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor packaging and production equipment
  • Perform quality checks on products, labels, packaging, fill levels, and pallet patterns
  • Support line changeovers, startups, material staging, and line readiness activities
  • Complete production, quality, and traceability documentation accurately
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment, quality, and production issues
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams to meet production requirements

NOW HIRING: Tier 2 Production Operator

As a Tier 2 Production Operator, you'll independently operate equipment on our bottle, can, keg, and variety pack lines while helping ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll perform quality checks, keep materials flowing, document production activity, support equipment changeovers, and troubleshoot routine line issues. Schedule
  • Friday–Sunday

Compensation

Pay: $20.00–$24.00/hour and $2 per hour shift differential

Pay is based on skills, experience, shift, equity, and business needs.

What You Will Do

Requirements
Qualifications

  • Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety requirements
