Job summary

Rapidmicrobio seeks a part-time weekend Production Operator in Lowell, MA to support product demand while maintaining quality, yield, and cost targets. This role operates production equipment in a cleanroom environment and collaborates with a team to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 2 years of related experience or an Associate's degree.
• Cleanroom experience (minimum 1 year) with full gowning.
• Strong aseptic technique and laboratory skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Willing to complete company-provided cleanroom certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily production schedule.
• Ensure materials are stocked and ready before production begins.
• Verify equipment calibration and function (balances/scales, Mediaclave, etc.).
• Clean and sanitize equipment, cleanroom, and work areas.
• Record lot numbers, calibration, and pre-fill QC results.
• Complete batch records accurately.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ testing.
• Update production status information.
• Print and verify product labels.
• Follow cGMP, ISO, and GDP procedures.
