Job summary

North Freeze Dry is seeking a Weekend Production Lead to oversee the 3rd shift on the production floor, guiding a team to meet targets while emphasizing safety and quality. You will report to the Superintendent, monitor performance, and help resolve daily issues to keep the line running smoothly.

The role requires leadership, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and a proactive approach to process improvements. Schedule includes weekend hours with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in production/manufacturing with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to motivate a diverse team.
• Familiarity with OSHA and safety practices; commitment to safe operations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a 3rd shift production team to meet targets with quality and safety.
• Report to the Superintendent and provide performance updates.
• Ensure efficient processes, minimal downtime, and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and minimize disruptions.
• Maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
