Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry in American Fork, UT is seeking a Freeze Dry Lead to oversee the freeze-dry production team and ensure production schedules are met while upholding quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in freeze-drying processes, and the ability to train and guide staff. This is a regular full-time position with a Wednesday-Friday shift and alternating Saturday 6pm-6am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred: associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in freeze-dry production or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of freeze-drying processes and equipment.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead the freeze-dry production team with your supervisor to meet production goals and ensure team clarity on roles.
• Provide training, coaching and support to enhance skills and performance.
• Oversee daily operations to meet schedules and ensure product quality and safety.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Maintain production records and report progress to management.
