Job summary

APC Direct is seeking a Production Associate to operate production equipment and ensure goals are met. The role starts, operates, and tends machines, then inspects finished mail products for quality.

Weekend shift: Fri-Sun, 6am-6pm with a starting hourly rate of $19.00. This position involves warehouse tasks, data recording, gauge reading, and adhering to safety and postal guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic knowledge of computers required.
• One plus year of direct mail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with postal regulations regarding physical preparation of mailings is a plus.
• Ability to analyze root causes of production issues and develop corrective actions.
• Effective oral communication with coworkers and supervisors is required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and start/stop/clean machines.
• Assemble finished mail product and inspect quality.
• Assist with the production line in the warehouse.
• Load/unload items and feed equipment for processing.
• Record data and read gauges.
• Ship finished products and perform other duties as assigned.
