ManpowerGroup is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of electrical components for a Weekend Production Associate in Fort Payne, Alabama. You will support automated line processing and manufacturing equipment, ensuring quality and safety while troubleshooting production issues to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 2 years of vocational training with up to 1 year in a related environment, with a Friday–Sunday shift from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Our client, a leading manufacturer of electrical components is seeking a Weekend Production Associate to join their team. As a Weekend Production Associate, you will be part of the production support team, helping keep automated line processing and manufacturing equipment running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly - skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Weekend Production Associate

Location: Fort Payne, AL

Pay Range: $16/hour

Shift: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

What's the Job?

• Complete manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups to support production readiness.
• Gather, record, and analyze production information to support daily operations and continuous improvement.
• Perform repair and retest for product and/or manufacturing facilities to maintain performance and quality.
• Oversee use of machine control systems and support their use in manufacturing equipment.
• Resolve manufacturing-related problems affecting daily operations, including estimating requirements arising from process changes.

What's Needed?

• 2 year vocational training plus up to 1 year experience in a related production environment.
• Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field.
• Ability to operate specialized machines and tools effectively, including setting parameters for production programs when applicable.
• Comfort working with automated line processing and controlling, or operating within production lines using broader ranges of production machines.
• Willingness to follow standardized work routines and use available guidelines, procedures, and work-specific instructions.
