Southend Pharmacy is seeking a PRN Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to collaborate with technicians to ensure safe and accurate compounding and distribution of sterile medications. This role requires expert sterile compounding knowledge and strict adherence to USP <797> standards, impacting patient well‑being across diverse demographics.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 6:30am - 3:00pm. Pay: $60/hr. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D or Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License issued by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in sterile pharmacy practice.
• Expert proficiency in USP <797> sterile compounding standards and adherence to cGMP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Compound prescriptions with precision following USP <797>, ensure accurate distribution.
• Verify prescription accuracy and ensure timely medication verification and distribution.
• Collaborate with technicians to manage sterile compounding workflow and inventory.
• Oversee and replenish sterile product supplies and related records.
• Engage in research to improve compounding techniques and explore emerging therapies.
