Job summary

Methodist Senior Services, Inc. is seeking a PRN Weekend Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team at Dugan in West Point, MS.

You will evaluate residents to address communication, cognition, and swallowing, and create individualized treatment plans to improve safety and independence. You will work with an experienced rehabilitation team in a faith-based, resident-centered setting, collaborating with facility staff to support quality of life and daily functioning for

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current Mississippi license/certification is required.
• ASHA certification is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Provide skilled SLP interventions for communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Document evaluations and progress per standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and therapy teams.
