Job summary

Methodist Senior Services at Trinity Place in Columbus, Mississippi, is seeking a PRN Weekend Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat residents to improve communication, swallowing, and overall independence in a supportive, faith-based setting.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology with professional licensure.
ASHA certification and Mississippi license required or eligible.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; strong documentation ability.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
Provide skilled speech therapy interventions to address communication, cognition and swallowing difficulties.
Implement strategies to support safe swallowing and functional communication.
Monitor progress and adjust interventions; document evaluations and progress.
