Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, active California PTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Successful completion of the NPTE for PTAs.

Responsibilities

• Implement resident treatment plans per the established plan of care.
• Deliver interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and function.
• Monitor, document, and report resident responses to the supervising PT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies.
• Maintain HIPAA, infection control standards, OSHA regulations, and patient rights.
• Support discharge planning and transition-of-care activities.
• Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Treat all residents with dignity, respect, and compassionate professionalism.
