Job summary

Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN weekend basis. This weekend PRN role supports our residents’ mobility and independence under supervision and in collaboration with therapists.

The ideal candidate holds a California PTA license, has completed an accredited PTA program, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist PTA in delivering rehabilitation services.
• Support resident mobility and independence.
• Collaborate with therapists and rehab team.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care on weekends (PRN).
