Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center in Miami, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist (PRN) for weekend coverage to assess referred patients and provide rehabilitation services. You will document care per regulatory requirements and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited PT program, a valid Florida license, and demonstrate strong documentation and patient-service skills in a geriatric rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant college or university.
• Valid FL professional license and registration.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of Physical Therapist.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress weekly.
• Collaborates with all disciplines for patient-centered care.
• Exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
• Punctual and professional at all times.
• Experience in geriatric rehab, neuro, cardiac or general rehab preferred.
• HIPPA confidentiality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
• Provide patient treatment meeting identified needs.
• Writes accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
