Job summary
Upland Rehabilitation in Upland, CA is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for weekend coverage to support our in-house rehab program.
The OT will screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL deficits, develop care plans, and provide rehabilitative treatment in a regulated, geriatric setting. Pay is $52–$56/hour based on experience.
Licensed OT candidates are welcome; the position offers work-life balance and a supportive team focused on recovery.
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Open to applicants of all experience levels
Responsibilities
- Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL deficits and develop plans of care.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment.
- Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises and modalities.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services based on evaluations and referrals.
- Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
- Communicate with supervisor and health team about progress, barriers and plans.
- Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services.
