Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join our team as independent contractors providing services to U.S. military members.

The role emphasizes weekend coverage with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in Arkansas, working on an as-needed basis across locations including remote military installations. You will perform health assessments, review records, interview personnel, and document readiness determinations in our system.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Arkansas or eligible to practice there.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and travel to remote military installations.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
