Infinite Medical P.C. is hiring a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide on-site care in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Newburyport, MA.

This part-time, weekend position emphasizes patient relationships and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team. Qualified providers hold an active MA license (NP/PA/MD) and have experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong communication, clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Passion for elder care and person-centered healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Perform physical exams and medical history assessments.
• Diagnose and treat chronic and acute health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care goals.
