TeamHealth is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. This is a part-time weekend opportunity (2 days/week) rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with training, autonomy, and earning potential.

Compensation is fee-for-service with an estimated range of $34,000 to $40,700 annually. We offer onboarding, mentorship, and growth opportunities within an innovative post-acute medicine practice.

Qualifikationen

• NP or PA license and DEA required.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong clinical foundation and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and histories.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff in a team approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical records per regulations.
