Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years on-the-job welding experience.
• Ability to pass X-Ray and weld multiple processes.
• Ability to MIG root with down-hill progression/Flux core fill and cap with up-hill progression (6" diameter).
• TIG out with all passes being up-hill progression.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe components by tacking them in place prior to welding.
• Confirm squareness and fit-up of joints.
• Verify joints align properly and pipe spool follows drawings.
• Weld joints and purge pipes.
• Inspect welds and correct as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
