Qualifications

• Must weld 2'' extra strong carbon steel pipe in 6G position.
• TIG welding passes must be uphill progression.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures; write routine notes.
• Ability to calculate figures and geometry for pipe layouts.

Responsabilités

• Assemble pipe components by tacking in place prior to welding.
• Confirm squareness and fit-up of joints and pipe spool to isometric drawings.
• Weld joints and purge pipe as required; remove tack remnants.
• Inspect welds and make corrections; keep area clean and safe.
• Operate crane to position pipe; follow safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain appropriate records and use a construction calculator.
