Job summary

Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in Virginia seeks a qualified Physical Therapist to assess and implement rehabilitative programs that improve mobility and reduce pain. You’ll educate patients and caregivers, supervise care from the team, and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with internal and external partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with licensure; Master’s degree is preferred, Doctorate is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Master’s degree preferred; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Physical Therapy License required to practice.
• Experience with rehabilitative programs and team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by team members.
• Educate patients and families; develop formal and individualized plans of care.
• Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal/external teams.
