Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience and the ability to perform detailed clerical tasks.
• Phlebotomist experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Formal phlebotomy training; ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient identification, phlebotomy, specimen labeling.
• Specimen verification, processing, shipment and front loading on instruments for testing.
• Pre-analytical processes including registration and ordering.
• Provide outstanding customer service with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Perform clerical functions including telephone communication, report generation and faxing.
