Virtua Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for weekend night shifts at Mount Holly, NJ. This part-time role collects and processes patient specimens, ensuring accuracy and adherence to lab protocols, with on-site responsibilities and supportive patient interaction.

Required high school diploma and formal phlebotomy training; ASCP/NHA/AMT certification preferred. Prior customer service experience recommended; duties include clerical tasks and strong teamwork in a healthcare setting.

Job Summary

Adhere to correct policy and procedures in carrying out routine tasks. Collects and processes patient specimens for testing in adherence with laboratory protocols. Perform laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases. Prepare samples/specimens for producing accurate and reliable results by following collection procedure.

Required Experience

Previous customer service experience with demonstrated ability to perform detailed clerical work. Previous experience working as a phlebotomist in a medical setting preferred. Good interpersonal and time management skills.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Training / Certification / Licensure

Formal phlebotomy training required. ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

Hourly Rate

$18.89 - $27.81

The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
