Job summary

Everleap Fertility is seeking a Weekend Phlebotomist for our Basking Ridge, NJ location from 5:30am-11:30am. You will draw blood for laboratory procedures used in infertility diagnosis and treatment, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of venipuncture experience, completion of a phlebotomy program, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program is highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) is required.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and other specimen collection and explains the process to patients.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling, and centrifuging specimens.
• Stores and transports specimens to preserve integrity per procedures.
• Complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains a clean and stocked phlebotomy area.
• Reassures patients to ease anxiety during procedures.
