Job summary

Christian Living Communities (CLC) and Cappella Living Solutions (CLS) are seeking a part-time Personal Care Partner I for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6am–2:30pm. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily personal care needs and ADLs in a supportive elder care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, and daily routines, while maintaining confidentiality and reporting changes to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• One year experience in elder care preferred.
• Knowledgeable with Electronic Health Management system.
• Strong self-management and organization skills.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Attends to the personal care needs of residents in a timely manner and provides assistance with ADLs as requested by residents or supervisor.
• Provides personal care services such as bathing, dressing, meals, laundry with attention to resident needs.
• Anticipates and identifies care needs and reports to supervisor.
• Responds to needs of family members as appropriate.
• Maintains open communication with supervisor and peers about resident issues.
• Monitors safety and well-being of residents and documents changes.
