Job summary

Aspire Behavioral Health & DD Services in Georgia is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant to support adults with developmental disabilities in a community setting. The role emphasizes person-centered care, safety, and promoting independence.

The position requires HS diploma, CPI/CPR/First Aid training, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Weekend shifts are limited to not more than 24 hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED with basic reading, writing and math; 25 WPM typing.
• Preferred: CNA designation preferred but not required
• Minimum Experience: Work with adults with IDD who have exceptional needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and submit accurate records (financial reports, behavior supports, personal care tasks, medication assistance).
• Submit accurate person-centered documentation in CareLogic reflecting choices and observations.
• Provide community living support: advocacy, daily living skills, hygiene, home care tasks.
• Escort individuals to promote community integration and inclusion.
