Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma (partial college preferred).
• Customer service and secretarial experience in a hospital setting desirable.
• Bilingual desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families, complete admissions information and identify patients.
• Notify nurse of arrivals and preop holding or PACU admissions.
• Assign patients to beds per Nurse in Charge plan.
• Log patients in EPIC for times and length of stay; ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare patient schedules for front desk, preop and PACU; update OR time changes.
• Maintain supplies and par levels for unit; manage equipment and forms.
