Liberty Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Nurse for Preop/PACU with weekend option. The role supports both Saturday and Sunday shifts, with hours from 0700 to 1900, and requires BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification, plus an active RN license in Missouri or a compact state.

The RN will coordinate interdisciplinary care, perform assessments, educate patients and families, and mentor peers while maintaining safety and policy compliance in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Graduate.
• Associate Degree Nursing required.

• Assess patient and family readiness; educate using teach-back methods and tailor plans to individual needs.
• Communicate professionally with patients, family, nurses, and other clinicians.
• Adhere to medication safety policies, including order writing and double checks.
• Execute other duties as assigned and intervene to maintain patient safety.
• Model therapeutic communication honoring diverse psychosocial and cultural needs.
• Lead and collaborate with team to optimize care plans and unit operations.
