Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a dedicated perioperative RN for a full-time, 36-hour week daytime role at Freeman Hospital West. You will assess patients on the surgical journey, plan interventions, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective perioperative care.

Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and a Missouri RN license or compact-state license. Priority is given to those with perioperative competency and a commitment to quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN license or compact state license.
• ACLS within 180 days.
• BLS for healthcare providers within 30 days.
• PALS within 180 days.
• Perioperative RN competency day annually by transcript due date.

Responsibilities

• Independently assesses patients' physical, emotional, clinical and psychosocial needs and plans timely interventions.
• Evaluates effectiveness and adjusts care plan to ensure safe, high‑quality perioperative nursing.
