Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital in Akron, OH is seeking an Experienced RN for the Level II Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Weekend days are 7:00am–7:30pm with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, offering opportunities to pursue higher education resources while delivering patient-centered care.

Minimum qualifications include ADN or BSN, RN license, BLS, ACLS within one year, and at least one year of ICU or acute care nursing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where practicing.
• BLS Certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS Certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and administer medications/treatments.
• Complete ongoing assessments and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Document progress of care and discharge goals with patient/family.
• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation of patient/family outcomes.
