Responsibilities

• Obtain warm handoff with off-going shift and follow up on open tasks.
• Ensure transfer line is answered immediately and messages are checked promptly.
• Screen transfer requests for inpatient medical necessity with remote UR Nurses.
• Adhere to 30-minute notification and bed assignment timelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and document transfers clearly in logs.
