Distinctive Living in East Brunswick, NJ, invites an Activities Assistant (Part-Time) to join our Mira Vie Senior Living Community. The role supports daily resident activities under the Director of Resident Experience and Director of Memory Care, with weekend shifts required.

The ideal candidate brings warmth, compassion toward seniors, and strong communication. Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care is a plus; training will be provided, and benefits include health, PTO, and retirement

Qualifications

• Must possess a passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life.
• Has a basic understanding of Alzheimer's and other dementia related diseases.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life.
• Provide outstanding service to residents, families, responsible persons, and visitors.
• Create a positive atmosphere with engaging activities.
• Assist with designing and implementing a diverse activity calendar.
• Lead and monitor recreational programs to meet residents' needs.
