Job summary

BTI Security is hiring a part-time weekend security supervisor in the Bethesda area to oversee security personnel, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and maintain high standards of safety for client sites. The role involves daily shifts, credential checks, and collaboration with the project management team.

Ideal candidates have Maryland unarmed security credentials, proven leadership experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience supervising and leading unarmed/armed security personnel.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard license.
• Strong relevant knowledge of the security industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a customer service driven mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers.
• Equipment and Software proficiency in fax/copier/printer, Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and oversight of officers and shifts.
• Demonstrates the capacity to effectively manage a security guard services contract.
• Perform regular post inspection.
• Adequately prepares written inspection and quality control reports.
• Daily management of readiness capabilities of Armed and Un-Armed Security personnel in their duties of protection of client property, facility, personnel, and revenue throughout the Metropolitan Area.
• Ensure all officers credentials are maintained in accordance with contract requirements.
• Assist Project Manager in implementing new and revised systems, process development and operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
