Job summary

Prestige Senior Living – Beaverton Hills is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals in accordance with menus, dietary specs, and resident preferences. The role requires maintaining sanitary practices and working under the supervision of the Food and Nutrition Services Manager or Dining Services Manager.

Wages start at $22–$24 per hour with experience. This position includes weekend shifts and opportunities for training and advancement within a compassionate, resident-focused community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience cooking in a restaurant or the dietary department of a hospital or similar environment.
• Must have required State certification or food service license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks, and serves food in accordance with the menu and food and nutrition standards, including presentation, taste, and texture.
• Maintains proper temperatures and records food temperatures during cooking and holding.
• Reviews menus with supervisor and notes substitutions as needed.
• Ensures food supplies are available and prepared for upcoming meals; notifies supervisor of needs.
• Keeps a clean, safe work area and stores/labels food per guidelines.
