Job summary

Prestige Senior Living – Beaverton Hills is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation and service in the dietary department. You will help with meals, tray setup, and delivering meals to residents while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

This role requires courteous interaction with residents, adherence to dietary restrictions, and participation in training and team meetings. Food handler permit is required by the state.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Handler Permit as required by the State.
• Some High School education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and serve meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Deliver meals to resident rooms or dining areas and set up trays according to dietary orders.
• Keep kitchen, dietary equipment, and dining areas clean and sanitary.
• Wash utensils and ensure dishwasher and handwashing procedures are followed.
• Properly store, rotate, prepare, and label food per guidelines.
• Monitor equipment temperatures and report any faulty equipment.
• Follow fire safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical practices.
• Greet residents and visitors respectfully and protect privacy.
